Cats need to run, and a flat has little room for it.
A cat exercise wheel in wood, 110 cm outside diameter and 100 cm inside. The track is 12 mm wood with a 5 mm gap, so paws are less likely to get caught. It has a widened base and a noise-reducing wheel mount. The supplier rates it for cats up to about 11 kg.
It weighs about 20 kg and ships from the supplier's UK warehouse. Most cats need training, with treats over a number of short sessions, and some never use it. Read the training steps and our returns page before you buy.
How it works
- 1Make it normal furniture
Leave it in the room for a week with a treat on the base.
- 2Lure a step
Hold a treat so your cat steps forward and the wheel turns slightly.
- 3Add a step a day
End each session on a success. Never force your cat.
