What is in it

For cats that finish dinner in seconds and sometimes bring it back up.

A moulded PP plastic bowl with ridges and gaps in the base, so your cat has to lick and pick at food rather than swallow it in one go. It comes in green, pink or orange. A harder bone pattern is listed for the fastest eaters.

Use it on a flat, non-slip surface and wash it after each meal, because food gets stuck in the ridges. If your cat is sick after eating regularly, mention it to your vet as well.

How it works

  1. 1
    Use their usual food

Pour the normal meal into the bowl.

  2. 2
    Split the meal if needed

If they still gulp, split the daily amount into three or four smaller servings.

  3. 3
    Wash after each meal

Warm water and a soft brush.

Works best if

  • Your cat eats fast and is sometimes sick afterwards
  • You feed dry or chunky wet food
  • You have several cats eating at once

Skip it if

  • Your cat has dental pain or a flat face and struggles with ridges
  • You feed smooth pâté, which smears into the ridges

The supplier does not say, so hand wash.

My cat gets frustrated.

Use a smaller serving with a few easy pieces on top, and work up.
